Dance Connection were delighted to be asked to head up Team GB Performing Arts last year and we took our first team to compete at The World Show Dance Championships in Germany in November 2019.
14 dancers ranging in age from 12 – 18 years spent the week in Germany competing against dancers for across the world and we were delighted to see 10 of our dancers reaching the semi finals which is an incredible achievement for year one.
It was an inspiring week for all involved and a very special time that we all shared, many valuable life lessons were learnt.
Each & every one of our team members did us proud and we are looking forward to competing as Team GB again in 2020.
A huge thank you to all families involved, the support was incredible and we had an amazing time with you all.
We have plans in the pipeline to attend European & World Championship events in Macedonia, Poland & Germany and nationwide auditions start in March.
