Sam trained trained at Performers College and then went on to gain her teaching qualifications under Linda Sweetzer & Elizabeth Harrison gaining her ISTD Licentiate qualification, Sam then went on to become an approved ISTD Tutor training new teachers.
24 years ago Sam founded The Harlequin School of Dancing starting with just 9 pupils in a tiny village hall, the school quickly grew and 10 years later celebrated its 10th Anniversary with 100 pupils performing at The Wycombe Swan. The school was then re-branded and became Dance Connection. Since that time the school has continued to flourish and many ex pupils are now working in the industry and current pupils are working on bigger and better projects all the time. In 2019 the dream of having purpose built premises became a reality and this year DC are celebrating 25 years!
Sam is now on the committee for the IDO Performing Arts. In 2019 Sam took the first Company of Team GB Dancers to the World Show Dance Championships in Riesa, as Team Coach and Choreographer. All dancers were from Dance Connection and this year Sam and the rest of the Creative team will hold nationwide auditions to find Team GB 2020!
As a child Leah trained at Dance Connection and at the age of 18 went on to train for 3 years at The Margaret Howard Theatre School specialising in Musical Theatre & Teacher Training. After graduating Leah worked as a professional dancer and has been part of the teaching faculty at Dance Connection for the past 15 years.
In 2019 leah was appointed Artistic Director at Dance Connection overseeing all aspects of the artistic direction of the school.

Grace trained locally as a child appearing in numerous pantos and then went on to train at Read Dance and Theatre College where she graduated with a distinction in level 4 Trinity College Diploma in Musical Theatre. Whilst at Read College Grace sang in charity concerts, appeared in the graduate showcase and also danced at Move it! Grace then trained for a year at Wilkes Academy has now completed all her ISTD teacher training at Janet Marshall dance studios.
