Having trained locally as a child Sam then went onto train for 3 years at Performers College under the direction of Brian Rogers. Professional credits include performances at The London Palladium & The Hackney empire with The Brian Rogers Dancers, Trade shows for Mazda Cars, Pre match entertainment at Wembley stadium and many cabaret appearances at top venues throughout London including BBC’s children in Need!
Sam is a fully qualified teacher of Ballet, Tap & Modern and founded Dance Connection 21 years ago. Sam holds Licentiate teaching status with the ISTD & is an approved tutor for the ISTD and spent 10 years coaching fellow teachers in the new ISTD qualifications. Sam is very proud of what Dance Connection has become over the past 21 years and looks forward to many more exciting things in the future.
As a child Leah trained at Dance Connection and at the age of 18 went on to train for 3 years at The Margaret Howard Theatre School specialising in Musical Theatre &Teacher Training. After graduating Leah worked as a professional dancer with a corporate cabaret group and has been part of the teaching faculty at Dance Connection for the past 13 years.
Leah heads up the DC Musical Theatre department and is also heavily involved in organising events & workshops with industry professionals throughout the school.
Leah works extensively with the DC Elite Competition Squad and in conjunction with Sam has recently helped create and launch DC’s new Technical Jazz Syllabus.
Anna began her training locally and appeared in 3 professional panto’s and a production of Joseph. At the age of 11 Anna entered full time training at Bush Davies. She then went on to Arts Educational followed by 3 years at Laine Theatre Arts where she gained all her teaching qualifications.
Anna has been a part of the teaching faculty at Dance Connection for the past 18 years and holds her Licentiate teaching status with the ISTD. Anna also takes care of the admin at DC and will be your first contact when you make an enquiry.
Grace trained locally as a child appearing in numerous pantos and then went on to train at Read Dance and Theatre College where she graduated with a distinction in level 4 Trinity College Diploma in Musical Theatre. Whilst at Read College Grace sang in charity concerts, appeared in the graduate showcase and also danced at Move it! Grace then trained for a year at Wilkes Academy is now completing her teacher training at Janet Marshall dance studios.
